Webcast overview

Welcome

Welcome to the Culture, Health and Wellbeing 2013 International conference. We have an inspiring and wide-ranging programme with contributors and delegates from across the globe, representing twenty-two countries. The cross–fertilisation of ideas from many interrelated disciplines and areas of practice and research will give us a unique opportunity to learn from each other and inform the development of the field as a whole. This microsite contains the live streaming of the conference keynotes and sessions going on in City Hall on Monday June 24th and Tuesday June 25th. Further information about the whole conference will be archived on the conference website at www.culturehealthwellbeing.org.uk

The conference is organised by Arts & Health South West in partnership with the Royal Society for Public Health and on behalf of the National Alliance for Arts, Health and Wellbeing, England. Our academic partners are Canterbury Christ Church University, Durham University and the University of the West of England.

“I hold strongly that the arts can enhance wellbeing and health and that more needs to be done through public policy to ensure that as many people as possible have the opportunity to benefit from the life-enhancing and therapeutic experience of the arts. We need to learn from best practice in this field across the world.” The Right Honourable Lord Howarth of Newport

You can watch the conference presentations via a live webcast here from
10am – 1pm on Monday June 24th and
from 9.30am to 1pm on Tuesday June 25th.
